Damn You John Madden

Damn John Madden and EA Sports! Damn you all for believing in a stupid curse. But most of all, I would like to know how a non-weight bearing bone would know if it is broken? Because if it doesn't bear weight, is it mearly a reaction type bone, like one in my fingers? If that is the case why miss any time at all? Throw the damn foot in a cast and be done with it.

I am of course kidding about most of this, but the following link really put a damper on my mood today (well more so than being ill and at home).
